In February 2010, after a long association with the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, Tim Joined the National Home Builders Association in Charlotte. Tim is committed to finding the best continuing education offered in his industry. He is currently taking courses within the NHBA’s Builder Institute, with a goal of earning Accredited Builder status in that organization.

Also, in February, Tim earned the title of North Carolina Lead Paint Certified Renovator. This latest certification is required of all contractors who work on homes built before 1978, beginning in April 2010.

Tim Owen Construction earned Contractor of the Year in 2004 for the craftsmanship of the Guenther residence addition.

As a member of the Better Business Bureau of Southern Piedmont I share the philosophy of the bureau to promote and foster the highest ethical relationship with the public through voluntary self-regulation, consumer and business education and service excellence.

I have earned and currently maintain an A+ rating in the Bureau.
