Cotswold Kitchen Remodel
The existing 10×13 kitchen layout was sorely outdated and too cramped for the family of 5 plus two dogs and a cat. The owners wanted to combine the kitchen and dining areas which required the removal of a load bearing wall. Addtionally, they wanted to widen the existing small window to let in more natural light as well as views of their fabulous backyard, and create a central island for gathering with family and guests.
We came up with an efficient gallery design that enhanced the overall flow, not only of the kitchen, but of the house itself. The new kitchen and breakfast nook ties together the foyer, kitchen, and den and has become the heart of the house. The new design includes 2 large pantry cabinets plus plenty of base and wall cabinets, a combination convection oven and convection microwave, 5 burner gas cooktop with vent hood, and 36″ farmhouse sink. White cabinets and quartz countertops work with the natural light to create a vibrant environment for meals and convening with friends. The owners could not be more pleased with the results!
Cotswold Bath Remodel
The bathroom was in dire need of updating. The family includes a member with limited mobility so we widened the doorway, removed a dividing wall, and created an accessible wetroom with movable spa seat and handheld sprayers. A closet with bifold doors was replaced with a full custom cabinetry set. This project gets lots of oohs and ahhs from visitors.
